scuba diving in the Philippines, Kayaking, Snorkelling, Trekking

recreational activities:

Scuba Diving. The resort offers dive facilities and services such as tank rentals and airfills using well maintained and serviced scuba tanks and a K14 9cfm Bauer Compressor. Gear rentals, boat diving and dive instruction services are also available. See links on dive training.

Snorkelling. The house reef offers clear waters, rich marine life and a pristine reef for snorkellers to enjoy. Snorkelling lessons can also be obtained.

Trekking. An easy trail providing a spectacular view of the reef is a must. The Batangeno's in the area have kept the trees untouched so beautiful trees and foliage are seen through the trekking route.

Kayaking. Allows you to approach the beautiful surrounding shoreline and mountainsides.

Lounging. There's lots of space to lounge and relax with your friends! Kiteflying at the sundeck, relaxing at the lounge.

environmental projects:

MARINE I.D. A fun filled fish and marine life identification activity where adults and even kids can learn how to appreciate and protect marine life. It makes snorkelling, diving and even exploring more fun. A great activity for families, kids, and friends.

CROWN OF THORNS COLLECTION:An ongoing commitment to regularly collect C.O.T.s, a species of starfish that destroy the reef when there is an outbreak in its population.

We've just finished collecting C.O.T.s in the shallows of the Ligpo area, about 500 were logged from July to August 2007. So far we have not spotted an infestation which could very well indicate a successful collection. We've collected over 3,000 COTs in 2005 and 2006. Click here to know more about COTs.

COASTAL CLEAN UP :While we encourage everyone to collect trash at every occasion and opportunity, we organize annual coastal clean ups to help promote awareness and participation.

REEF EXTENSION PROGRAM:We have deployed over 40 reef extensions or domes which is now a breeding ground for small fish and coral growth.
