LIGPO CAVERN
ACCESS: 5 minutes by boat from Portulano Resort. 
CONDITIONS: Generally calm but can have currents 
when tide changes. 
AVERAGE DEPTH: 60ft (18m)
The cavern is at 30-40ft (9-10m) on the north side 
of the protruding rock formation. Experienced divers 
may penetrate the cavern with a guide and in single file.
It leads to a soft "dreamlike" coral garden with 
pink anemones and teeming soldierfish.

Hidden well inside a crevice in the cavern are lobsters, 
usually from 5-12 peeking down from a stadium like dwelling. 
We have often seen a giant grouper here, estimated to be
about almost 1.5meters long.
 
A very good night dive with many crawlers: shrimps, 
decorator crabs, octupus and squid. Penetrating 
the cavern on a night dive or with strong surge 
is not recommended because of urchins.
