BUS STOP/DIVE AND TREK MARINE SANCTUARY This site was called the bus stop in previous years because large pelagics were known to park in this area. Dive and Trek established the sanctuary in 1994. In 1996 the owners together with the Ocean Heritage Foundation seeded the first batch of giant clams.
ACCESS: 5 minutes by boat from Portulano Resort. CONDITIONS: Generally calm AVERAGE DEPTH: 70ft (18m) BATCAVE: Named as such because large batfish used to reside here, it is now marked by a cross where numerous surgeonfish, big midnight snappers and chubs flock for fish feeding.
