BAHURA 
Bahura means atoll in Filipino. This site can be approached 
from either the eastern side near Marikaban island 
or near Beatrice (referred to as Bahura Kanto), closer 
to Sombrero Island. The eastern side features a sandy shelf 
where we have occasional sightings of sharks, turtles
or big snappers. 

The reef is teeming with colorful anthias and is composed 
mostly of a gradual slope, almost identical to Beatrice Rock.


ACCESS: 15 minutes by speedboat from Portulano  Resort. 
CONDITIONS: Can be calm but often have fierce currents. 
AVERAGE DEPTH: 70ft (18m)

Moral Eels, nudibranches, scorpion fish can be seen here. 
What I like best is the overall view of teeming fish swimming
against the current.
